    Hello there, malaniefromarnold.

It sounds like you want to deauthorize a computer using iTunes. The following Knowledge Base article offers up steps on how to do just that:

    Deauthorize your computer using iTunes

When you deauthorize a computer, you remove its access to content that you bought from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, App Store, or Mac App Store, such as music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books. You won’t lose your content, and nothing will be deleted from the computer. When you deauthorize a computer, you only prevent it from accessing purchased content. You can authorize your computer again later.

You should deauthorize your computer before you:

    • Sell it or give it away.
    • Send it in for service.
    • Make major upgrades.

If your computer doesn't work or you don't have it, you need to deauthorize all computers and then reauthorize the ones you're still using. You don't need to deauthorize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but you do need to disassociate your iOS devices from your Apple ID. Your iOS devices don’t use any available authorizations.

    {...}

    Deauthorize one computer

    1. Open iTunes on the computer you want to deauthorize.
    2. Mac: From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose Store > Deauthorize This Computer.
Windows: Hold down the Control and B keys on your keyboard to open the iTunes menu bar. Then choose Store > Deauthorize This Computer. Learn more about menus in iTunes for Windows.
In earlier versions of iTunes, you can access this option from the Advanced or Store menus.
    3. When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password.
    4. Click Deauthorize.

    Windows users

If you didn’t deauthorize your computer before you re-installed Windows or upgraded your RAM, hard disk, or other system components, your computer might be using multiple authorizations. Try to deauthorize your computer a few times until it’s no longer authorized, then authorize your computer again. After you do this, it will use only one authorization.

Then follow these steps to Authorize the computer you want:

    After you deauthorize

Reauthorize each computer that you want to use with iTunes:

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. Mac: From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose Store > Authorize this computer.
Windows: Hold down the Control and B keys on your keyboard to open the iTunes menu bar. Then choose Store > Authorize This Computer. Learn more about menus in iTunes for Windows.
    3. Enter your Apple ID and password.
    4. Click Authorize.
