Q: Can't bootcamp back to MacOS from Win32bit

Hello all

I recently boot camped my Mac book pro and installed a windows 32bit OS (although this was accidental, I wanted 64bit). Once everything was complete, I couldn't find the bootcamp icon to go back to the Mac OS. Also, I believe a lot of devices, such as the network adaptor, weren't installed. I think these files are on the USB that I used during the boot camp, but I can't open them since they require 64 bit. I have tried installing windows 64bit but my bootable disk doesn't work during the laptop reset. I currently have no internet access at all and so am quite conceded with how to proceed. Any help regarding this would be much appreciated.

What happens if you power the MBP up with the Option key depressed?

Also, I can't find boot camp at all from the control panel. And I'm sure that its not hiding amongst the notifications (where the small arrow is on the right)

You will not find the icon because your BC drivers are not fully installed. Follow the steps that Allan Eckert is suggesting.

sorry allan, it was 3am in the morning for me and i just missed your message when i posted. when i power up my laptop with the option key depressed the lock screen comes up. however, i've tried my mac password and it's not unlocking? i'm unsure on where to fine the code for this.

If you have a firmware password set up, please see Use a firmware password on your Mac - Apple Support and If you lost or forgot your firmware password - Apple Support .

Only Apple Retail Stores or Apple Authorized Service Providers can unlock computers protected by a firmware password.
