Macbook air has a white screen when logging on

When I log on to my macbook air there is just a completley white screen that shows my cursor. I have been getting notifications saying that my start up disk is full, but i dont know if that means anything. Help!

Try a safe boot:

That may temporarily clear enough space for you to access your data. If successful, transfer to an external HDD as much data as you can and then EMPTY TRASH!. That should allow you to boot the MBA normally.


If the safe boot does not work, then use Target Disk mode:


https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201462


Again you will have to delete data off of the MBA storage to gain normal access.
