My 6s won't sync or show up on itunes when I have it connected

I recently updated my iOS to the most recent as of 12/24/2015 and same for my iTunes. I reinstalled iTunes and tried a bunch of out dated ccommunity troubleshoot methods and don't know why it randomly just stopped showing up. I went to sync some music I was using iTunes match for and it downloaded some of the songs I had selected and then it like errored out or something and some songs show up but aren't fully downloaded and now my phone no longer shows up when I connect it AT ALL. Halp.
