Q: person a and b were calling my phone non stop. Person a is convinced that when they called me, it rang through to person b's phone. Is there any explanation for this?

BOB and MARY were calling my phone non stop while I was at work. I did not answer any incoming calls. MARY attempted calling and said it had rang through to BOBS phone. Bob and I do not have the same Apple ID. Is there any reason why a call may ring through?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2

Don't share the same iCloud account on both phones.

Are you sure that they are not calling you with FaceTime, What'sApp or what have you: when you have your address on both their phones (and their addresses on your phone) it will probably be shared when they try to call each other.
