Q: Facetime and I message stoped working

our face time and I message worked fine yesterday. today when we when to use it we had been signed out of face time and i message . we have gone to sign back in with our log in an password and it will not go in it comes up as error or it says unable to activate at this time . the third time it came up as a Facebook server error.

 

can someone give us some help or advice what to do .

 

we have :

 

tried logging in on wifi and cell network

 

reset the phone twice

 

logged out of iTunes in the phone and logged back in

 

anyone provide us with suggestions ?

 

dose face time server error mean that the network for face time is down ?

 

we can't face time or send i messages

and  it all worked perfectly last night

 

if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated

 

we have the iphone 6

    our face time and  I message still wont activate. could that possibly be from the apple id possibly being disabled ?  we have tried turning the phone off and turning it back on . we have signed out of  itunes and signed back in  it won't let us sign in to anything now not even iTunes or facetime or imessage and other suggestions ? the only other thing we have thought of is calling apple or creating a new id and trying that .

     

    any help would be greatly appropriated

    anyone have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

     

     

    We got signed out of  itunes , facetime,  imessage about a week ago now we have tried several times to sign in now  to get back in it still will not let us .

     

    we are wondering if it is possible that the account has been locked or something else is wrong.

     

    we have truned the phone off and turned it back on

     

    we have tried signing back into itunes, facetime and Imessage and have had no luck at all

     

    how ever we can sign in to apple Id on the computer , just not the phone

     

    it was working last week the day before it went out and we got signed out

     

     

    we cannot sign in now and the only thing we haven't done is completely reset the phone  back to new . or  reset the network settings or try a different apple id

    to sign in to the phone with.  we haven't called apple yet either

     

    but  when we put the password in  to log in it says

     

    taking too long

     

    invalid

     

    or it says wrong password

     

    one time we did get it to go in we got facetime server error

     

    anyone have any suggestions ?

    Still not activated after a day?

    It might take up to 24 hours to activate iMessage and FaceTime. If you've waited more than 24 hours, follow these steps:

    1. Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS.
    2. If you're using an iPhone, contact your carrier to make sure that you can receive SMS messages.
    3. Contact Apple Support.

     

    Please do #3.  There is no more troubleshooting tips for you if it has been over 24 hours.

    I made every attempt , hoping to iMessage and FaceTime back to work, follow the step by step these two props and yet.

    Items 3 and 4, once stopped FaceTime lost this function ;

    My last attempt was to go

     

    Shut down and restart iMessage and FaceTime

     

    Go to Settings> Messages and turn iMessage .

    Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn off FaceTime .

    Restart the device.

    Turn iMessage and FaceTime again.

     

    Does anyone know of anything additional that can still be judged?
