Can I use a Magsafe A1436 45W on a 2015 Macbook Pro Retina?

My mom just bought a 2012 Macbook Air and she got a Magsafe A1436 45W charger with it. I'd like to know if it is okay to use it with my 2015 Macbook Pro Retina.

If you google Magsafe A1436, you find some results saying it's a Magsafe 2 charger. Does that mean that I can use it?

Thanks in advance.

I should slow down and read. If your moms macbook air has a magsafe 2 and your MBP came with a magsafe . No it will not work. Also everybody else that posting is right. If the magsafe for both are the same then while you could technically use it. it would be a very bad idea to do so. If you do not have your own it would be better to get the one designed for your computer
