Q: No sound, no Boot camp control panel in Windows

I've installed Windows 10 using Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro Retina 15'' (16GB RAM / 1TB SSD, OS X El Capitan (version 10.11.2) - however, there's no sound in Windows, I cannot access the Boot Camp control panel in Windows (there's no such icon in the tray) and I cannot see the Mackintosh disk from Windows.

I have tried to re-download the Boot Camp drivers using the procedure described in If you don't see some features of your Mac in Windows - Apple Support, but Boot Camp assistant only proposes me to restore the disk to a single volume deleting my existing copy of Windows 10 (there is no option to download the updated drivers for boot camp.)

Please, help - I really don't want to re-install Windows!

The MBP is a 2015 model MacBookPro11,5 (fresh from the shop - only bought 3 days ago.)

Yes, it was a clean install of Windows 10, the only exclamation mark is on "Multimedia device" (I tried updating the drivers, but was unsuccessful.)

You can download BC drivers using

to a USB flash drive.

What year is your MBP? Please check Device Manager for any entries with yellow triangle and exclamation mark? Was W10 a clean install?

Actually, one problem hasn't been solved by re-installing boot camp in Windows - I still cannot see the Mac partition from Windows. Is it possible at all? I only ask because one of the salesmen in the Apple Store said it is not possible, even if some of the articles I found say it is possible.

Please post the output of the following Terminal command.

diskutil cs list

This will answer whether you can or cannot see it.

I think I solved it by myself - by converting the disk from CoreStorage to HFS+ (using this article: http://awesometoast.com/yosemite-core-storage-and-partition-woes/) Incidentally, now my Mac Book Pro works faster than before!
(I hope this conversion hasn't deprived me of anything useful - I don't really care about encryption.)

There are some advantages of a CS volume, but one of the disadvantages is this lack of visibility as you found out. I suggest you create a new baseline backup of OS X, otherwise you may run into future issues. It is also possible that future OS X upgrades may insist on converting this back to CS.
