Family Sharing - transfer child to another account

i'm having trouble transferring my child from my old iCloud account. I've recently set up a new account and i've added one child (new set up on iPod) and the child with an existing account will not transfer. I've invited my child and i receive the email "allow child to leave and join a different family", but i cannot "view request'. Any suggestions? can i delete my old family sharing account?

iPod touch, iOS 8.2

Have you checked the old and the new organizer accounts?

Hi, I followed these instructions, however, my child received the invitation notification, but I did not receive any message as I was supposed to have according to the Apple Support guide on "Transfer a child to a different family group". What should I do?
