Q: I can't log out of iCloud because of find my iPhone. The iCloud account is an old email that is no longer in use (it was deleted) so I can't reset the password. Just got a new MacBook, so I wanted to set up iCloud to share between the two.

I can't log out of iCloud because find my iPhone is on. The email account it is logged into is no longer in use (it was deleted a long time ago), so resetting the password isn't an option. I just got a MacBook and wanted to set it up so I could share things between the two.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2

So you CAN'T log out of the old ID on the Phone?

You have one of the "hardest" issues if you don't know how to solve...this should help.

    1. Login to your current Apple ID account at appleid.apple.com

    2. Click the blue "Manage my Apple ID" in the top right.

    3. Under the "Name, ID and Email Addresses" section, change your PRIMARY Apple ID email address to the OLD or out of date email address that your phone or other apple device is attempting to connect to. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THIS EMAIL ADDRESS CURRENTLY EXISTS. You will not be required to verify if to be able to make the change happen.***

    4. Go to your phone or other device and you should now be able to log out of iCloud using the password for your current Apple ID.

    5. Once you log out, go back to your Apple ID and change your email back to the current email address you'd like to use and save and verify the email address.

So when I got to the step of changing my current AppleID to the old one, and I think you mean just under the Account section where it states my AppleID, birthday, and reachable at, I never saw a blue "Manage my AppleID." It says "an email with a verification code has been sent to ... Enter the code here" and is asking for a 6 digit code.
