Q: how to change an apple id

Dear friends,

Few days ago I just received a Macbook Pro from my friend. I've got problem when I tried to update some apps, because the apple id is still my friend's id. How could I change the id to mine?

Apps are locked to the account that purchased them and you have to log into that account to update them

Those App's ownership is registered to your friend's ID, so you should remove them and use your ID to download them thru Mac AppStore, and btw strongly recommended to entirely erase the computer if that is used by a previous person
