Q: can GR5 send a plugin a patch change when switching to another MS patch?

Hey all -

I want to use 1 instance of Guitar Rig with Rig Kontrol at the Set level - that's the only way to have access to Rig Kontrols functions - patch changes, Wah etc... If you load GR instances to each MS patch, only the first one sees data coming from the RK...

However, I'd like to have MS send a patch or program change to the set level Guitar Rig plugin when switiching to another MS patch, so the right GR sound would be there right away on loading the patch...

Could I do this by creating an object in the MS patch with an attributation or mapping that would send a CC to GR when loading?

Thanks in advance if you can offer me any suggestions - and since today is Christmas 2015 - MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

Yes, there is! (Hope you get this message, it's a few months late)

That's what onscreen controls are great for. I do this a lot, and it saves me having to make all kinds of different versions of the same patch if all I need to do is turn on/off a plugin, or change a single setting (like something inside GR). Create an onscreen controller like a slider, nob, or in your case, there might be a number box of some kind (I've never had to use one). For every individual patch (not at the concert or set level), click on the controller, create a routing to that CS > GR, and change the saved value to whatever you need. I haven't done this EXACT thing, sending program changes to GR, but I typically use it to enable/disable modules inside of GR, or send values to certain parameters.
