What is a QR code?

From the Oxford Dictionary: "

a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone."

It's a square-shaped symbol that you can scan using a QR-reader app on your phone. It works similarly to the barcodes you see on food, clothing, and other items you can purchase. The symbol can give you more information about an item or take you to a website.
