Internal hard drive locked

internal hard drive lock.

20" iMac has gray screen w/ logo, spinning gear & progress bar and shuts off when bar reaches end after 10 to 15 minutes. I open w/ command & R and tried to reinstall OS X but Message I get is "Hard drive locked".

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

In the Recovery Partition, try Disk Utility/File/Unlock...
