Dec 27, 2015 5:56 AM in response to Eric Rootby mr peter james,Hi Eric and thanks for replying. It comes usually within roughly 10 minutes after powering up and always happens sooner or later. I use Little Snitch and always deny it up to now. Dropbox opens automatically, I usually open up Mail, Safari and Calendar pretty much straight away and Textedit, Reminders, Notes, iBank and Libreoffice before too long, but I have not been able to associate it with any particular application.

Dec 29, 2015 5:51 PM in response to Eric Rootby mr peter james,Hi Eric, some more specific info...
I rebooted, LittleSnitch, ITunesHelper, Dropbox, Canon IJ Network Scanner, NoteBookHelper and MacUpdate Desktop loaded automatically. Then I loaded Netshade, Safari and Reminders. Within 10 minutes of reboot I received the googleapis request as before. Do you think it has anything to do with iCloud or Dropbox backups?
