Help! How do I change the Photos background colour from stark white to grey ?

When viewing my photo images in 'All Photos' they are displayed on a stark white background. Can anyone tell me how to change this to a mid grey background (as it was with iPhoto) ? Many thanks

Have told Apple my needs as you suggest. Very disappointed that my photographs are shown on a stark white and distracting background since upgrading to Photos - didn't expect a backward step !

I'm trying to run both Photos and iPhoto, choosing the one that best suits me at the time but it seems that Keywords attached in one don't carry through to the other - another disappointment. You'd think that as they are using the same photo library any new Keyword applied in either Photos or iPhoto would be applied to the image and be viewable in both Photos and iPhoto - however this does't seem to be the case. Thanks for your comment.

I Hope Apple wil add this option in a later erase. it has been requested so frequently.

I Browse the photos mostly in Edit mode, where the background is black. have you tried to reveal the sidebar with the new hum nail grid in Edit mode? You can step the photos with the arrow keys and quickly c⎇ pal and paste adjustments between photos.
