Hi Eric, I am trying to setup the keychain on my iphone but I also have an iMac and Ipad Pro so I wanted to set up keychain so I can save my passwords and other important information .

You should be able to set up the keychain since it is synced via iCloud. System Preferences/Keychain/Options and enter your iPhone number. Then check the box to sync. Then Settings/iCloud and turn on keychain sync. You should get a code to enter. See support articles below.

When I follow the instructions and enter my cell number, I get the following error message "Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain".

You are welcome. Country code correct? Look at the setup instructions at the end of the 1st linked article. Something you shouldn't have to use, but it may work.
