Q: Can SLING app be downloaded and run on Apple TV?

CUtting Cable and wanting to use Sling TV for streaming programming. Can it be downloaded into Apple TV and operate?

AppleTV 2, iOS 9.2

No. You must purchase the SlingBox in order to use it to stream TV to your computer. Sling does not stream to your TV.

Thank you. I have Sling TV app (without sling box) on my Amazon Fire Stick and an account. Just wanted to avoid purchasing more Amazon Fire Sticks for my other TV's where I already have Apple TV connected.

Discovered that I can download SLING app onto iPad and use AirPlay to my Apple TV. Roundabout approach, but works.
