Im trying to transfer time machine content to my new macbook but the time machine won't let me view anything and won't transfer content to my new macbook. How can i move my photos across to my new mac?

Ive managed to view the time machine, and it appears to be nearly full with "other" content, but i only want the photos but i won't let me view the photos, it says my photos are only available on the time machine!!

If someone could help that would be very useful!
