Q: Advice on buying a refurbished MacBook Pro from 3rd Party?

I've seen a pretty good deal to buy a refurbed 2012 MBP from a retail store (Argos) via eBay outlet. However I've never bought refurbished before, so I am hesitant. My first option would be the Apple Store of course, but even the refurbs are out of price range for me. The retail store offers a 12 month warranty. I've also seen an option to buy a higher spec, more heavily used MBP 2012 with like, 9 months of Apple Care left, but this is from an independent Mac retailer, anybody want to weigh in?

Option A: 9 months of Apple Care buying from a small business eBayer: MacBook Pro 13.3 i7, 2.9 ghz 8gb Ram 750gb HDD

Option B: 12 months warranty from Argos: MBP 13.3 i5 3.1ghz 500gb hdd 4gb Ram

The price difference is like £50 more for Option A. I know that seems like the better deal, but I'm thinking that if the Apple Care expires in 9 months, then the machine is at least 2 years old. Even though they seem to be a decent computer shop, I think that if I buy it from Argos I'm likely getting a newer machine and if anything were to go wrong, I'd be able to go straight to Argos.

What sounds like the better deal? I really suck at making decisions on big purchases, I was supposed to buy a new laptop like 2 months ago but I can't decide!
