Q: Photos not uploading new iPhone 6s

I just upgraded to the iPhone 6S from an iPhone 5. The photos from my cloud are not loading to my new phone from the iCloud. There are light grey boxes with the correct descriptions of dates and locations. How can I get these photos to load?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2

I suggest you connect to WiFi.

I got the phone on Wednesday, 12/23, and I have been connected to WiFi at least overnight since. All other apps and aspects of the phone converted correctly besides photos. I have asked other people who have recently gotten new iPhones, and they said the photos showed up within a day or two.
