Just signed up for Apple Music, but my daughter doesn't have an iPhone running iOS 8.4, which is required for Apple Music. Can she still access Apple Music through iTunes? We can't find any way for her to accept the Family Sharing invitation and access Apple Music through iTunes?

I understand that you're concerned about using iTunes on a Windows PC to join a family group and use Apple Music. Indeed, it is not necessary to have an iOS device in order to take advantage of either of these services.
You can accept or decline an invitation to join a family from your device:
- On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > iCloud > Invitations.
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud > Manage Family.
- If the invitation is sent to your email address, you can respond right from your email.
To accept an invitation, follow the onscreen instructions. Here's what you'll be asked to do when you join:
- Confirm your Apple ID and password.
- Choose if you want to share your content and which Apple ID you want to share from.
- Choose if you want to share your location. If you agree, your location can be displayed on family members’ devices in Find My Friends and Messages, and the location of your shared devices will also appear on family members’ devices in Find My iPhone.
If you can't accept the invitation, see if someone else joined a family with your Apple ID or is sharing purchased content from your Apple ID. Remember, you can only join one family at a time, and you can only switch to a different family group once per year.
Join on your Mac or PC
- Open iTunes. Make sure that you have the latest version.
- In the upper-left corner, click the Music
icon.
- From the top of iTunes, click For You.
- Click Start 3-Month Free Trial.
- Select Individual or Family Membership, then click Next.
- If prompted, enter your Apple ID and password that you use with the iTunes Store. If you don't have an Apple ID, click Create Account.
- You might be asked to validate your billing info, but you won't be billed until after the three-month free trial period ends. Add a valid payment method* and click Join.
- If prompted, agree to the terms and conditions.
- Choose genres and artists that you like.
*You can use store credit to pay for your Apple Music membership, but you must have enough store credit to cover the amount of your first renewal. Learn how to add store credit to your account.
