Q: Unable to download iPhotos from Apple Store or from Apple website.
The reason or doing this is because I have just upgraded my OS from 10.7 to Yosemite. The old iPhotos does not work. When I tried downloading the new ver from App Store, it prevents me from doing it and reasons stated "Update Unavailable with this Apple ID. This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled". In addition, as I go through several rounds of back and forth, I also get the following error "These Apps cannot be accepted by your Apple ID. These purchases were already assigned to another Apple ID's Purchase list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the applications". However, I am unable to locate iPhotos on any App store (US, Singapore, Belgium).
Here's some more background: I bought this iMac and all software in Belgium back in 2011. At that time my Apple ID was registered to US store. in 2013, I moved to Singapore and changed my ID to Singapore store. I guess there is some issue coming from there.
One thing is clear: I have done all downloads and purchases using ONLY my Apple ID and none other.
How do I fix this and download or buy iPhoto?
HELP!!

You can't buy iPhoto as it is no longer sold or developed by Apple. If you're existing iPhoto was not associated with your app store ID then you cannot update it either. iPhoto is discontinued.
With Yosemite 10.01.3 there is a new app - Photos - that will migrate an iPhoto Library.
Other than that, Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues. They might be able to help you.
