upgrade inquiry

Hi, i live in the UAE and i bought Mac Air 13" 128 GB, 4GB RAM and i was under the impression of being able to upgrade it later to a 8GB, the reseller i bought from denies support and won't take it back or even upgrade NOTING THAT it's 10 days old.

please help
