You can call the 1-800-MY-APPLE number and they will transfer your Apple Store gift card to an iTunes card!! I just now got off
the phone with George there and he made it easy to switch my Store card over to an iTunes card. They will send an email
with the new number to redeem for iTunes! Very Cool!

In fact, you can't even use it at the iTunes Store. It is only for Apple Online Store or Apple Retail Store.
That is ridiculous, considering the huge media campaign they're in the midst of to promote "Apple Pay" you'd think its only logical that any gift card that is issued to you and stored on your device in your wallet, could be used at any retailer who accepts Apple Pay, but this is Apple were talking about. They never have done things that make much sense or follow logical thinking
