How do you download APKs?

I got a iPod Touch 6g yesterday and I'm trying to download a game from a website. It's not a payed game, it's free but it's only available in Japan. I didn't feel like going through the process of making a Japanese account so I did some research and found a app that allows you to download files on the web. I downloaded it but I can find no apps to open APKs. For example, WinZip says it cannot open the file, same with iZip. Anyone know anyway to download a APK?

iPod touch, iOS 9.2

An APK file is what is used by the Android operating system. They are not compatible with iOS.

You can only install Apps "purchased" from the Apple App Store.

You can only use the country's app store in the country you are located and the payment method (e.g. billing address of cred card) in your account must be associated with that county.

To use the Japanese App Store yo have to be located in Japan and have a Japanese payment method
