I recently lost my ipod and I stored all of my content onto my computer and i'm trying to find a way to restore it onto my iphone? is there a way for me to properly do this?

a couple months ago I decided to back up my ipod onto my computer through itunes and I lost my ipod along with all the content on it, So what i'm trying to do is restore all of that information onto my iphone but when i plug it in it doesn't give me an option to do so? is there a way to restore that content and put it on my iphone? if so how can I go about doing that?

You can -- but be aware that the process will completely replace whatever is currently on the iPhone. See the following for more information: Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support

Another option you may want to explore would be to use 3rd party backup extraction software to access the backup. Depending of the type of content you are wanting to access, there then may be a way to get it from the computer to the phone. One example: https://www.wideanglesoftware.com/ibackupextractor/
