Dec 27, 2015 12:35 PM in response to runfr33by FoxFifth,One option would be to upload the desired photos from your Mac to iCloud. Use an internet browser (e.g., Safari) and sign in to https://www.icloud.com/ and then click the Photos app there and then click Upload in the bar at the top.
Depending on the age of your Mac, you may also be able to use AirDrop. More information on both methods in the "What if some of my photos are missing ..." section of Get help with your iCloud Photo Library - Apple Support

Dec 29, 2015 3:15 AM in response to FoxFifthby runfr33,Thank you FoxFifth,
this is the way I don't want to use, because I have to upload the photos to the cloud. I would like to use the cable like in the past, as we synced only with it.
Anyone else an idea?
Regards,
Ron

Dec 29, 2015 7:15 AM in response to runfr33by FoxFifth,I'm not sure I understand. If you do find a way to move the photos to the iPhone or iPad, they are going to immediately upload to iCloud anyway since you have iCloud Photo Library turned on in those devices.
The AirDrop method that I also mentioned in my post above would work if your Mac is recent enough, but again, as soon as the photos get to your iPhone or Pad they will upload to iCloud.
