iOS 5.1.1 Compatible Apps

Does anyone know if there is a list of all the apps that have backward compatibility for iOS 5.1.1? I don't want to pay for something to only find out after its not compatible with iOS 5.1.1. Unless I'm missing something the only way I can find out if something is compatible with my iPad is to purchase from iTunes on my computer, then bring it up under purchased on my iPad and see if it prompts me to download an older version. I see no where in the app store that will tell me what paid apps are backwards compatible. I just don't want to waste money.

There isn't a list that shows which developers allow people to download previous compatible versions of their apps, there is only a way of viewing which apps whose current version requires iOS 5.1.1 or lower : https://sites.google.com/site/appleclubfhs/support/advice-and-articles/finding-a pps-for-older-devices#5.1.1


If there is a particular app that you'd like then you could try contacting the developer and asking if they support the downloading of older versions (and if it includes iOS 5.1.1)
