Dec 28, 2015 6:41 AMby Ndurkee328,I Already tried all that. My Vizio tv has three CEC options: Disable, ARC Only and Enable. I have found that when CEC is on Enable, volume control doesn't work but it turns on the tv when I wake the Apple TV. When on ARC only, volume control works but it doesn't turn on the tv. So I can't really win here, I like both features but it seems I have to choose beetween them.

Dec 28, 2015 9:53 AMby turingtest2,I guess it is what it is. Let Apple know at Apple TV Feedback. Tell them the model of your TV and what controls do and don't work. Perhaps a later build of the firmware will work better with more TVs.
