There is no need to install anything on your iPhone to play music to a Bluetooth headset on your iPhone 5s. You can do that right out of the box and all you need to do is pair the headset with your iPhone. Go to Settings > Bluetooth to get you to the starting point to pair a bluetooth device. I would also check the instructions that came with the headset for pairing process as you might have to put in a code to verify the pair. Take a look at the articles below for more details on profiles and the setup process for bluetooth on your iPhone.

Dec 29, 2015 10:15 AM in response to norm123by busbizness60,My bluetooth is paired to my phone. I have an iphone5s and I can call, and talk to Siri, but it does not have the capability to stream. This question was raised years ago in forums and the answer was that iphones do not have the A2DP that you need to stream wirelessly. Yes, to stereos and speakers, I thkink you can, but not to my bluetooth Parrot headset. OK, I followed the link and it appears that iphone5s does have the A2DP, so have to figure out how to stream.

Whoever said that was mistaken.
iPhone's are perfectly capable of streaming audio over A2DP.
Make sure the AirPlay output is set to the headset under AirPlay in Control Center.

Dec 29, 2015 10:44 AM in response to busbizness60by busbizness60,I called vxi and they explained that my model of bluetooth B250-XT is the only model that does not have the capability to stream music thru my bluetooth. While I was on hold waiting for them, I turned on itunes and voila, I could hear the music playing. So I hung up and then boom, the music stopped streaming. So I called back and when I got connected to a live person, he explained that this model bluetooth does not have the capability to connect to A2DP, the streaming thingy, but when you are on a phone call, it opens up a channel between the phone and the bluetooth and therefore the music could get through. I hope this helps anyone else trying to stream with a 250XT.
