Cannot sign out from old Apple id.

Are there solutions out there how I can sign out from my old apple id and use my new one?

Story: I replaced my original apple id a few months ago. Ignored the pop ups asking me to sign in (old apple id) to my iphone/ipad as I could use them without signing in. When I finally sat down to work on it, it started acting up. I found out that I need to log out on my devices if I create a new Apple id (Correct?), of which I didn't do.

I am now stuck with Notes, Calendars not being updated. Apple has given me a 14-series pin to clear my identity but is of no use to my ipad. Was I locked out?

Hi 5ivefromlos angeles,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your devices. I'm a bit unclear if you are currently working with Support or what exactly you are seeing on your devices, but if you are being prompted for your old Apple ID you may find the steps outlined in the following article helpful:

If iCloud asks you for the password to your previous Apple ID - Apple Support

Also, if you have changed the info associated with your Apple ID (*not* created an entirely new Apple ID), you may also want to double check that you have updated all the associated features and services, as noted here:
