Q: New to Apple. Looking for backup - restore info.

2nd attempt at posting this;

I am a Windows user who is a backup fanatic.

Now I have an iMac and I want to know if I can use my Apple document backups in a Windows environment. Otherwise, my backups would be useless with only my Window PC's.

That would depend on what type of documents you're referring to.
