Playing games on Apple TV

Hi all is there a serious flaw here? The games only recognise one profile, so for multiple members of the family that want to progress through the games its simply not possible and destroys the whole point of playing games on the family TV?? Or am I missing something here? Lead titles such as asphalt 8 only allow one profile!!

Hiya.

The link to imore you sent only applies to purchasing things from iTunes etc so dosent affect playing games. And sadly even the process of logging out of your game center and letting someone else log in (and stupidly the Apple TV cant remember more than one game center account!) does nothing. The games only allow one profile so progress is linked with the game and not the individual playing it!!

Massive flaw here and something that will stop big games coming to apple tv......

You nailed it. It's kind of easy to switch between Apple IDs and it SHOULD be as easy (or easier) to switch between Game Center accounts.
It didn't take long for me to get thoroughly frustrated when I was playing a game and then realized that my kids progress on the same game overrides anything I had accomplished. No way to go back and play levels I missed. No way to learn gameplay at less advanced levels.

Big problem if Apple thinks this is going to be a family (or even two person) gaming device.
In my opinion, there should be something on the homescreen (if there are more than one users) that can be easily accessed - a kind of "who's using this now" kind of feature. Or better yet, get rid of Game Center and just allow multiple user profiles on games!
