Q: File tree subfolders out of alphabetical order in "Save as"

When I try to save a new document in MS Word, the Save As window comes up, as usual. However, as of recently, the file structure that appears in the window, folder, subfolders within the folders, etc., no longer appear in alphabetical order; they appear in completely random order. As some of my folders have many subfolders, this sometimes necessitates considerable hunting to find the right folder to save the new document in. There is no problem when I view these same folders in Finder.

How do I get my folders and subfolders to appear in correct alphabetical order?
