Dec 28, 2015 4:34 PM in response to jfediasby stevejobsfan0123,★HelpfulThe link in your post is actually for a Mid 2012 non-Retina MacBook Pro, not an Early 2014 Retina MacBook Pro.
I would get the MacBook Pro with Retina display instead of the MacBook if the lack of ports is a concern. The current models are available here: http://www.apple.com/br/shop/buy-mac/macbook-pro?product=MF839BZ/A&step=config.

Dec 28, 2015 3:58 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by jfedias,Wow! Really? The store said it was an early-2014 model, and I believed them due to the fact they said the MBP had 256GB SSD and Retina Display... Bummer!
The 512GB rMB would cost me R$8,369.07 whilst the 512GB rMBP (MF841BZ/A) would cost R$10,686.64.
Which one would be the best one for me?

Dec 28, 2015 4:11 PM in response to jfediasby stevejobsfan0123,It's possible that they just used the wrong picture and it actually is a 2014 model.
As to which one, no one can really decide that except you. Which is more important to you, the cheaper cost, or more ports (i.e. HDMI, USB...)?

Dec 28, 2015 4:21 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by jfedias,The reality is that I don't really need the performance of the rMBP, but I want to buy a Mac for, at least, the next 5 years, so that's also something the makes me want to choose an option that will serve for that period.
The rMB would perfect for me but the lack of ports scares me and I'd definitely need to buy an adapter for the day-to-day use.
The difference between them, in terms of price, would be approximatelly US$500.00, or R$2,000.00, which is a lot, all things considered.
Do you think the rMB would continue to be useful, with the MacOS updates, 5yrs from now?

Dec 28, 2015 4:34 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by jfedias,I'll certainly do that! Thank you very much! I'm also gonna try them side by side to see which one feels "better", while I'm more inclined to the rMB, specially if we think it's cheaper...

Dec 30, 2015 12:17 PM in response to jfediasby baytraveler,Just to make a further comment about the rMB, the single port is really a non-issue. I travel extensively and the Apple adapter for the single port really ended up working as an advantage for me. The adapter just becomes part of the power cord and adds flexibility when I have something plugged into it. The more I use my rMB, the more impressed with it I have become. If you fly a lot, the portability can't be beat and again, the adapter is really a non-issue. Good luck with your decision.
