Q: My playlist won't show up in my iTunes on new computer

I just got a new computer and I logged into my iTunes and realized that my playlists weren't showing up on there. I plugged my phone in and when it recognizes my phone my playlists show up just under my phone, but when I disconnect my phone the playlists go away. I've synced and backed up and authorized this computer so I'm not sure what's going on. Help please!

    Hi BrookeNP,

Congratulations on your new computer.  It sounds like your music, including your playlists, are on your iPhone so you see them when it's connected to your computer but when you disconnect the phone the playlists themselves are not on the computer.

Please make sure you moved over your complete music library from your older computer to your new computer, including playlists.

Note you need to move over the complete iTunes folder from your Music folder to get everything moved over.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
