if you restor an iPad back to manufacture settings does this remove I cloud

    Hi leefromaylesbury,

    If you restore your iPad back to factory settings, you are erasing all of the content/data on the device.   Your iCloud data can be seen at www.icloud.com.  When you restore from a backup or set up as a new device and enable iCloud, you will once again be able to see the information you have for your Apple ID / iCloud account.  The resource below explains more:

    it does not remove icloud activation lock, cause lock does not only exist on the apple device, but also exists on the server that ipads connect to during activation.
