Q: Macbook slow to connect to wifi, keeps dropping out
Hi everyone,
can anyone help with some advice please?
My 2014 Macbook Pro takes forever to pick up a WiFi internet connection when it wakes from sleep, or if I move it from one room to another. It regularly drops the connection when I am using it and I have to use the network assistant to re-connect. My iPad picks up an internet connection instantly anywhere in the house and rarely drops out. Running the two devices side by side I can browse the internet quite happily on the iPad, while the Macbook is telling me it is connected to the wireless network but internet isn't available.
Also happens in work so I don't think the problem is location-specific. What on earth is going on?
Thanks in advance for your help
