IPhone 4S, iOS 9.2 - No Wi-Fi

I cannot switch the Wi-Fi option on or off. It is greyed out. I have tried all options listed on the internet, minus the one that says to put a blow dryer to it and then put it in the fridge...please help. This started happening after the iOS 9 update.

Hi Txgurl3,

What usually solves this issue is to restore the device to factory settings via iTunes and set it up as new. After that is done you should be able to place back a backup of your iPhone that you made before restoring the device and the issue should resolve itself.

It seems to be a bug where the Wi-Fi module wasn't able to be detected due to a bug in the previous versions. When updating the device (restoring it via iTunes) you'll be downloading a new software version (which will override the previous version) and will lead to the removal of the bug that may have been present.

Hopefully this will solve your issue.
