Q: Charged for free software upgrade

My App Store suggested that I get an upgrade to OS X El Capitan today so I clicked on it, and it charged me £7.98 even though on the app store it was advertised as being free!

What can I do to reclaim this sum?

I don't even know or want an upgrade that much!

El Capitan is free. You may want to use the following instructions to review your purchase history and verify what it shows for the charge: See your purchase history in the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC - Apple Support
You can report a problem with the charge by clicking the "Report a problem" button at the bottom of the purchase history.
