Apple music shuffle icon verses the shuffle word

I start Apple Music (the app - a.k.a Apple iTunes on iOS), hit My Music, hit Playlists, then hit the white area between the icon and the "..." symbole and I'm presented with a screen. At the top of the list of tracks, on the left is "Shuffle" and on the right is the shuffle icon (two lines that twist a half turn). Both of these appear to do exactly the same thing. Am I missing something?

I have other questions / problems in this area but lets start there.
