Q: the startup disk cannot be partitioned BC HELP
So basically I cannot remove the BOOTCAMP volume from my HD and I can't even boot from it. I've tried first aid and formatting to different formats then formatting back to journal. I do not want to lose my space and would prefer not to reset my macbook. It will not recognize it as a bootable disk.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Safari
2a. In OSX Terminal - diskutil eraseVolume fat32 BOOTCAMP disk0s4
2b. Post the output of sudo fdisk /dev/disk0. Download GPT Fdisk from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/ if an MBR becomes necessary.
