First of all, I have gotten a new SIM card and this still appears.

Second, Why should I have to have my phone unlocked by a third party?

Third, This notifaction also appears on my computer, I am unable to update or sync in any way. Why is this?

Does this mean my iPhone is completly usless until I get a SIM card?

ok did you look at the link I provided to see if your carrier is supported.

Are you using the same phone carrier? If not the phone needs to be unlock by the phone carrier, your IT department or whomever is in charge of your company cell phione can handle that.

Assuming the phone is locked to Bell then yes.
