I have a mid 2010 imac. What is the best way to read sdxc cards? Thank you

If you have a mid 2010 model, the built in card reader should be able to read an SDXC card. Previous models could only access SD cards.
Thank you for such a quick reply and I hope this is correct but I have been looking on the internet and there are several articles that say the card is incompatible. I will post back after my new camera arrives. Keep my fingers crossed.

Iam sorry to have wasted your time but it turns out mine is a late 2009 model which does not support sdxc. I was looking for some help on choosing the right type of external card reader. Once again my apologies
Check amazon and eBay and your local computer store for getting a SDXC card reader for USB.
