After upgraded to iOS 9.2 Siri doesn't recognise new and unread iMasseges nor SMS.

Any one with the same issue?

If yes have you solved it?

OK, here is the conclusion of my teste, after following the suppoft article.

Fisrt I would like to inform you on the fact that I am a portuguese (not from Brasil) user. Since Siri is not available in Portuguese from Portugal we are obligated to it with an awkward Brazilian accent for Siri to assimilate words.

That said, as I already have mentioned I tried all the tricks and the issue is persisting. The command "Read my new messages" worked very well in English. I discovered it when I decided to make a teste with my wife using Siri in english on her iPhone 5S and me on my 6 In portuguese. So the command doesn't work with Siri set in portugues...

Have you done a forced restart since the upgrade? I would try that first.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up the app window until it flies off the screen.

Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
