Dec 29, 2015 2:47 PM in response to William Gustinby sberman,I have several questions:
- Apple never made an iPhone entitled "4G". Exactly what type of iPhone do you have?
- What version of iOS is it running?
- iPhoto was no longer updated by Apple starting about nine months ago. Photos is the current app. Therefore:
- What version of OS X are you using?
- What version of iTunes are you using?
- What version of iPhoto are you using?
- What is the age of your iMac? In what year was it made?

Dec 29, 2015 3:13 PM in response to William Gustinby sberman,You haven't told us your iOS version of your iPhone.
OS X 10.6.8 is too old to support the current iTunes (12.3.2) which is needed to communicate to iOS 9.

Dec 29, 2015 3:22 PM in response to sbermanby William Gustin,Hi Sberman,
My son gave me this iPhone. I'm trying to get a hold of him to fill me in. Just went to iTunes to look for 12.3.2 and nothing really comes up. Wife just called me for dinner. Will be back soon. Thanks again,

Dec 29, 2015 3:33 PM in response to William Gustinby sberman,Again, you cannot run or download iTunes 12.3.2 on an OS X version as old as 10.6.8 (about five years old).
You must get a more current OS X. The most current is 10.11.2.

Dec 29, 2015 3:54 PM in response to William Gustinby CoolKyogre,First thing I would suggest doing is updating to a newer Mac OS. I don't think it is your IOS that is the issue.
