Dec 31, 2015 6:54 AM in response to Mjaldermanby jason269,Hello, Mjalderman.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support communities.
I understand that the Health application isn't tracking certain data. It sounds like you may not have a device like an Apple Watch or similar tracker connected to your iPhone 6s. You would need some type of source or fitness tracker to gather this data before it would show in these categories.
Collect health and fitness data
Manage Health data from multiple sources on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch
I have included a couple options from our Apple Store to give you an idea of what is needed to track these categories. You are not limited to these options.
Cheers

Dec 31, 2015 10:54 AM in response to jason269by Mjalderman,Why would I need a fitness tracker to make these features work? The phone tracks m walked and run and flights climbed, and my runkeeper app reports distance walked/run through background tracking and when using the app to track workouts.

Thanks for the follow-up. I think the best option to explain how the Health application works would be to reach out to us via phone.
Contact Apple for support and service
Have a Happy New Year!
Cheers.

Aug 12, 2016 6:19 PM in response to jason269by Urban Mammal,It tracks steps, flights etc automatically, so why is a source required. For metrics requiring a data source, it specifies this and lists apps than can act as a data source, but lists no apps for this metric. Please don't ask me to 'reach out' by phone: I am here to get an answer here to avoid phoning; and, not being a member of a crime organisation, I don't 'reach out', I 'contact'.
