TomTom problem

Since downloading El capitan I have been unable to update my TomTom Go 5100, it always worked before the upgrade, so is their a problem with this platform.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Tom Toms site has OS X updates dated November of 2015. The site is vague about what the update supports but I would start by updating the software they provide.

Thanks for the info jimmyCMPIT, but I have checked and the version I have installed is the latest version. I have trawled the net and found some conversations which intimate that El capitan does not recognise TomTom and that TT are aware but will do nothing about it until El capitan is released as public and out of beta but I thought this had already happened ??
