Q: Safara crashing on ipad air2

Recently purchased iPad Air2. Having problems using Safari today. When i search, and select website, the website opens for about 30 seconds, then crashes. Have tried numerous websites, and the same happens each time. I never had this problem with ipad3. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Nome Malaga,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities! I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPad. If you are able to launch Safari, but it seems to unexpectedly quit shortly after loading a website (with multiple websites tested, as you mention), you may want to try resetting or clearing out the Safari data on your iPad, as noted in the following article helpful:

HI Brendan, have read and acted on the article and thought the issue was resolved, but it happened again next day. Seems to occur repeatedly, although I have brief opportunities to use Safari. When it happened again yesterday, I picked up my husbands iPad mini, and tried a search on that, and the same thing happened, I.e web page opened then crashed after a few seconds. He is on different Apple ID to me. I then tried Safari search on my iMac, and same thing happened on that. I have Internet access, inasmuch as I can send and receive emails, and access stuff via other Apps, but Safari seems to be the problem. Any advice would be appreciated.

decided to seek help from Apple Support as you suggested. After a long telephone conversation, and trying numerous things, we managed to resolve problem by switching of wifi router and performing reset on iPad, then switching on router, and reconnecting iPad to wifi. Support guy said this resent IP address. Interestingly, my husband has had same problem on his iPad ( he doesn't use much for Internet browsing, so hadn't realised his iPad had same problem. Solution worked for him also. However, it has recurred, so not sure if this means I have a problem with my router, or broadband provider. So at the moment I can get limited solution, but need to try to find out where the problem originates!

thanks for your help with this.
